Bengaluru, December 28, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The State Government has imposed night curfew for days across State commencing from today, in the background of increasing cases of Omicron. Health and Medical Education Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar has requested the people of the state to cooperate.
Speaking in Bengaluru today, Dr. K. Sudhakar expressed his view that it is not right for those who are opposing the night curfew. “I request the people to follow the government rules and cooperate. We have decided after assessing all the aspects thoroughly. The night curfew will be for 10 days as of now. Further decisions will be announced after assessing the situation,” he added.
“We are discussing with the officials concerned and experts frequently and will take action accordingly,” he said.
In his reply to a question on the availability of COVID vaccine for children the Minister explained that there is no proper stock of Covaxin and hence have requested the Union Government to provide it. He informed that 43 lakh children in the state require vaccination.
