Mysuru, Apr. 07, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): “The government has not given its approval in the budget to fill up the teaching vacancies. While the Board of Education has given its nod, we have received a letter from the Finance Department to provide all the details of the vacancies,” opined Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore.
“The Board of Education had approved to recruit 250 teachers, which was withheld due to the Corona pandemic. This information will be provided to the Finance Department, through the Education Department. An appeal will be made to fill up 77 SC/ST posts, 55 posts for Hyderabad Karnataka, and 150 general vacancies. It is not possible to provide quality education with a small teaching team. We also will appeal to the government to check on this and fill up all necessary posts,” he added.
