New Delhi, Apr. 1, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The second wave of the Coronavirus has started sweeping the country, as a result of which the number of COVID patients is increasing constantly. As many as 72,330 people across the country have tested positive in the last 24 hours.
The Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry have provided the details. The total number of cases has increased to 1,22,21,665 and 459 people have died due to the pandemic in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of deceased due to Coronavirus in the country has increased to 1,62,927.
The number of active cases has increased to 5,84,055, whereas out of the 1,22,21,665 infected people 40,382 of them have been cured in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of patients who are cured of the infection has reached 1,14,74,683.
COVID vaccination is being given to all those who are 45 of age and above from today.
