Mysuru, Feb. 25, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The Karnataka State Open University has organized an eight days ‘Virtual Job Mela’ in Mysuru commencing from March 15, 2021.
Prof. Vidyashankar, Vice-Chancellor, KSOU, today addressed a press meet held in Mysuru. He informed that the job mela has been organized with a view of providing job opportunities for the opportunity deprived, women, and rural youth. This virtual job mela will be from March 15 to 23 and Dr. Ashwathnarayan, Deputy Chief Minister and Higher Education Minister will inaugurate the mela.
More than 100 companies are taking part in this mela. Candidates who have passed SSLC, PUC, Degree, ITI, Diploma, BE and any other degree and postgraduates can participate in the job mela. About 6700 job aspirants are expected to take part in the virtual job mela. Registration can be made by downloading JobKart App through Google Playstore, he informed.
Prof. Lingaraja Gandhi, Registrar, Venkatesh S.V., Founder of Job Kart, and CEO, Dr. R.H. Pavitra, Employment Officer were present at the press meet.
