ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಆಗಸ್ಟ್,12,2021(www.justkannada.in): ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆಗಳ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಮಾನವ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಎಂಟು ಹೊಸ ಡಿಪ್ಲೊಮಾ ಕೋರ್ಸ್ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಸಿ.ಎನ್.ಅಶ್ವತ್ಥನಾರಾಯಣ್ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧದಲ್ಲಿಂದು ನಡೆದ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೂತನ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಸಿರು ನಿಶಾನೆ ತೋರಿದ ನಂತರ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಚಿವ ಅಶ್ವಥ್ ನಾರಾಯಣ್, “ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚೆಚ್ಚು ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾವಕಾಶ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸುವುದು, ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ಕೃಷ್ಟ ಮಾನವ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಒದಗಿಸುವುದೇ ಹೊಸ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳ ಗುರಿ” ಎಂದರು.
ಡಿಪ್ಲೊಮಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಸದ್ಯ 33 ಕೋರ್ಸ್ʼಗಳು ಇವೆ. ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಳೆಯ, ಅಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಹೊಸ ಪಠ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈಗ 21ನೇ ಶತಮಾನದ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಪೂರೈಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂಟು ಹೊಸ ಕೋರ್ಸ್ʼಗಳನ್ನೂ ಈ ವರ್ಷದಿಂದಲೇ ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಹೊಸ ಕೊರ್ಸ್ʼಗಳು ಯಾವುವು?
ಆಲ್ಟರ್ನೇಟಿವ್ ಎನರ್ಜಿ ಟೆಕ್ನಾಲಜೀಸ್‌ (Alternative Energy Technologies), ಸೈಬರ್ ಭದ್ರತೆ (Cyber security), ಆಹಾರ ಸಂಸ್ಕರಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ (Food Processing and Preservation), ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ (Travel & Tourism ), ಕ್ಲೌಡ್ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟಿಂಗ್ (Cloud Computing), ಆಟೋಮೇಷನ್ ಮತ್ತು ರೋಬೋಟಿಕ್ಸ್ (Automation and Robotics), ನಿರ್ದೇಶನ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿತ್ರಕಥೆ ರಚನೆ, ಟೀವಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ (Direction screen play writing and TV production) ಹಾಗೂ ಸೈಬರ್ ಭೌತಿಕ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮತ್ತು ಭದ್ರತೆ (Cyber physical system and security) ಈ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಆರಂಭ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಡಾ.ಅಶ್ವತ್ಥನಾರಾಯಣ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ನೂತನ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಗೌರಿಬಿದನೂರು, ಶಿರಾಳಕೊಪ್ಪ, ಕೂಡ್ಲಿಗಿ, ರಬಕವಿ ಬನಹಟ್ಟಿ, ಔರಾದ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಎಸ್.ಜೆ.ಪಾಲಿಟೆಕ್ನಿಕ್, ಚನ್ನಗಿರಿ, ಕೊಪ್ಪ, ಹೊನ್ನಾಳಿ, ಕಾಪು ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ನೂತನ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳನ್ನು ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಹೊಸ ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಬೋಧನೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಈ ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ ಅರ್ಹತಾ ಚೌಕಟ್ಟು ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಡಿಪ್ಲೋಮಾ ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ತಜ್ಞರು ಮತ್ತು ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಾಪಕ ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯ ನಂತರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಪ್ರಥಮ ವರ್ಷದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೂತನ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳಿಗೆ ನೇರ ಪ್ರವೇಶಾತಿ ಸಿಗಲಿದ್ದು, ಮೂರನೇ ವರ್ಷದ ಡಿಪ್ಲೊಮಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಇದೊಂದು ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಕಲಿಕಾ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ, ಪ್ರಥಮ ವರ್ಷದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷದ ಡಿಪ್ಲೋಮಾ ನಂತರ ಮೂರನೇ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ರಾಷ್ಟೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿ ಅನುಸಾರ ತಮ್ಮ ಇಚ್ಛಗೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ಓದಲು ಡಾಟಾ ಸೈನ್ಸ್, ಎಐ-ಎಂಎಲ್, ಪವರ್ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್, ನವೀಕರಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ಇಂಧನ, ಇಂಡಸ್ಟ್ರಿಯಲ್ ಆಟೋಮ್ಯಾಷನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್, ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ನಿರ್ಮಿತ ಪರಿಸರ, ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಸೇರಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹಲವಾರು ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆಯ ಅನುಸಾರ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ದಾಖಲಾತಿಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ:
ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಚಿವರು ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಒಟ್ಟು 87 ಸರಕಾರಿ ಪಾಲಿಟೆಕ್ನಿಕ್ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಇವುಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ 26 ಸರಕಾರಿ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆರಿಟ್ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಉಳಿದ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲು ಬಂದವರಿಗೆ ಮೊದಲ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ಕೊಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ ಅವರು ಸರಕಾರಿ ಪಾಲಿಟೆಕ್ನಿಕ್ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ಲೊಗೊ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

Admission process begins for Polytechnic Diploma with new courses and C20 curriculum
Bengaluru: The admission process for the Polytechnic Diploma studies it the state with 8 newly added courses in emerging areas and new C20 curriculum (revamped curriculum) of the earlier existed courses was inaugurated on Thursaday.
The Minister for Higher Education, Dr.C.N.Ashwatha Narayana, who inaugurated said, these steps are taken with a focus on increasing the employability of students and to align the courses with NSQF (National Skill Qualification Framework) and global standards to suit the current developments and demands.

The 8new Diploma programs offered by DTE (Dept. of Technical Education) in emerging areas include Alternative Energy Technologies, Cyber security, Food Processing & Preservation, Travel & Tourism (including logistics management), Cloud Computing & Big Data, Automation & Robotics, Direction, screen play writing and TV production, Cyber physical systems & Security and these are being introduced in the colleges at Gouribidanuru, Shiralakoppa, Kudligi, Rabakavi, Banahatti, Aurad, SJ Polytechnic of Bengaluru, Chennagiri, Koppa, Honnali and Kapu (Udupi) he informed.
Besides the newly added, 33 courses exist in the Polytechnic Diploma. Apart from this in the 3rd year, specialization pathways will be provided in 12 subjects which include Data Science, AI & ML, Power Engineering, Renewable Energy, Industrial Automation & Industrial Electrician, Structural Engineering, Sustainable Built Environment; Infrastructure Engineering; Net zero Buildings, IoT, VLSI and Embedded System, PCB Design & Fabrication and Medical Electronics, Narayana explained.
The admission process has also been changed to enable students walk into nearby Polytechnic and seek
admission into the course of their interest. Except for the select 26 Polytechnics (out of the total 87 govt. polytechnics) where merit based admissions are offered, students can walk into the remaining Polytechnics and get admitted on the first-cum-first basis into programs of their choice.
Further he told, “DTE has desingned new courses and new C20 curriculum after extensive consultations with industry, academia, alumni and government. In addition to this cues from the Diploma courses in countries like Germany, Newzealand, Australia, Singapore have been adapted.”
Polytechnic Studies has been facilitated with LMS to enable access to learning from anywhere & at anytime. This helps students to assess themselves continuously and to apply corrective action. Polytechnics are equipped with Smart classrooms to facilitate digital learning in classrooms, he explained.
The minister also expressed hope there would be increase in number of admissions to the Polytechnic Diploma courses in the current year.
On the occasion, newly designed logo of the State Polytechnic and a promotional video were launched. A state level Diploma admission prospectus was also released.
