ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಜುಲೈ,10,2021(www.justkannada.in): ಕೋವಿಡ್‌ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ದುಷ್ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಉಂಟಾಗದಂತೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರಕಾರವು ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್‌ ಕಲಿಕೆಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಖಾತೆ ಸಚಿವರೂ ಆದ ಉಪ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಾ.ಸಿ.ಎನ್.ಅಶ್ವತ್ಥನಾರಾಯಣ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಶನಿವಾರ ಮಲ್ಲೇಶ್ವರದಲ್ಲಿನ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ಟ್ಯಾಬ್ಲೆಟ್‌ ಪಿಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಲ್ಯಾಬ್ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಅಶ್ವಥ್ ನಾರಾಯಣ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಕೆಲ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲೇ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ 8,500 ತರಗತಿ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸಕ್ತ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲೇ ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್‌ ಕ್ಲಾಸ್‌ ರೂಂಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಪರಿವರ್ತಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ಪೈಕಿ 2,500 ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್‌ಕ್ಲಾಸ್‌ ರೂಂಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲೂ ಎಲ್ಲ ತರಗತಿ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್‌ಕ್ಲಾಸ್‌ ರೂಂಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಪರಿವರ್ತಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಅಶ್ವಥ್ ನಾರಾಯಣ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿ ಕಳೆದ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ 1.10 ಲಕ್ಷ ಲ್ಯಾಪ್‌ಟಾಪ್‌ ಗಳನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲ ಪದವಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿತರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ 330 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಖರ್ಚು ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ಈ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ 1.60 ಲಕ್ಷದಷ್ಟು ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್‌, ಪಾಲಿಟೆಕ್ನಿಕ್‌ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಟ್ಯಾಬ್ಲೆಟ್‌ ಪಿಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್‌ ಪರಿಕರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಸುಮ್ಮನಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ ಸರಕಾರ. ಬದಲಿಗೆ ಕಲಿಕಾ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿತು. ಇಡೀ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲೂ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಕ್ರಾಂತಿಕಾರಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಇದು. ಯಾವುದೇ ಖಾಸಗಿ ವಿವಿಗೂ ರೂಪಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದ ಉಪಕ್ರಮ ಇದು ಎಂದರು ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಅಶ್ವಥ್ ನಾರಾಯಣ್.
ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಕಂಟೆಂಟ್‌ ಜತೆಗೆ, ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಕಲಿಕೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ಆಯಾಮಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾದ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಇದು. 3.5 ಲಕ್ಷ ತರಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮದೇ ಬೋಧಕರು ಅಪ್‌ಲೋಡ್‌ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಂಥ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಸರಕಾರ ಖರ್ಚು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಕೇವಲ 4 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಮಾತ್ರ ಎಂದು ಡಾ.ಅಶ್ವತ್ಥನಾರಾಯಣ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಇಂಥ ಉತ್ತಮ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸದ್ಬಳಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಜನೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೂ ಮೈಮರೆಯಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಮಾತು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

Dr.C.N.Ashwatha Narayaya distributes Tablet PC’s to College Students
Bengaluru: DyCM, Dr.C.N.Ashwatha Narayana, who is also MLA of Malleshwaram Constituency, distributed free Tablet PCs to students of Malleshwaram government first grade college and inaugurated the Computer Lab in the college, on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said, that the government was giving importance to digital education, to ensure that the health of the students would not be affected in the times of Covid-19 crisis.
The government has set the target of converting 8500 classrooms of higher education into Smart Classes. Out of this 2500 smart classrooms have been already launched, Narayana told.
Accordingly to facilitate digital learning, 1.10 lakh laptops were distributed for degree students in the last year by spending Rs 330 Crores. Likewise, in the current academic year about 1.6 lakh Tablet PCs were being distributed for students of first grade degree, polytechnic and engineering colleges, he explained.
The government did not sit quietly just by providing tablets to students. Further, to make digital education a reality, the government created an alternate effective teaching- learning system. This comprises of best of the contents on each topic and 3.5 lakh classes developed by the faculty of our own college education department have been uploaded. This happens to be a great concept which has been achieved just by spending Rs. 4 crores, Narayana added.
Dr.D.S.Pratima, Principal, Dr.C.Swaminathan, IQC Coordinator, P.N.Jayanti, NAAC Coordinator, Ravishankar, Ravikumar lecturers of the college and others were present.
