Tumakuru, December 1, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): Former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy has condemned the incident of the assault on a college student in Belagavi who waved the Kannada flag at a college function.
In a tweet, H.D. Kumaraswamy mentioned, “I strongly condemn the assault on the student who waved the Karnataka flag in the Tilakawadi Police Station limits in Belagavi. “Even the police have assaulted him. It is nothing but an insult for Karnataka and our language,” his tweet read.
The State Government should consider this incident seriously, arrest the culprits, and initiate action against the two police officers who also assaulted the student, he demanded.
