Bengaluru Kashmir Bhavan offers special pooja to Sharada.

Bangalore,jan,27,2023(www.justkannada.in) The Save Sharada Committee, Kashmir conducted a special pooja on Friday for the panchaloha idol of Goddess Sharada, which is going to be installed in a newly constructed temple in Teetwal, close to the Line of Control in Kashmir.
The Sharada idol, contributed by Sringeri Math, was kept for public viewing at Kashmir Bhavan, Bengaluru. Goddess Sharada is the main deity of Kashmiri pundits. Both Sringeri Mutt priests and Kashmir pundits performed rituals. Previously, the idol was kept at Sri Shankara Mutt in Basavanagudi. On Sunday, the vehicle that has turned into a chariot and is carrying the idol will move to Mumbai.According to journalist RK Mattoo, a member of the Save Sharada Committee, the Sharada idol procession would pass through different cities, including Pune, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Delhi-NCR, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Jammu, and Kupwara. The yatra began in Sringeri on January 24. The statue would be consecrated on Ugadi, March 22, in the newly built Sharada temple at Teetwal.Teetwal, a picturesque village in Kashmir, is the last border village. Part of the village lies in the Kupwara district of Kashmir, while the other half falls in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

“It was the desire at Kashmir Bhavan in Bengaluru to bring the idol here and offer prayers.
