ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್, 4,2023(www.justkannada.in): ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಭಿಮಾನಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿಸಿ ಶೋಷಣೆಯಿಂದ ಮುಕ್ತಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ನುಡಿದರು.
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಬಂಜಾರ (ಲಂಬಾಣಿ) ಸೇವಾ ಸಂಘ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ತಾಂಡಾ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ನಿಗಮದ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಘದ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ್ದ ಬಂಜಾರ ಭವನವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಸಾವಿರಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅಕ್ಷರ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದೆವು. ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರು ಬಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳು ತೆರೆದುಕೊಂಡವು. ಡಾ.ಬಿ.ಆರ್.ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಹಕ್ಕಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿತರಾಗಬೇಕು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಭಿಮಾನಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಸ್ವಾಭಿಮಾನಿಯಾದರೆ ಶೋಷಣೆಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು ಎಂದರು.
ಬಂಜಾರ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಏಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿಗೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನೀಡಿದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಸಿಎಂ ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಮಯ್ಯ, ಸೇವಾಲಾಲ್ ಮಠಕ್ಕೆ ನೆರವು ನೀಡಿದ್ದು ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರ. ಸೇವಾಲಾಲ್ ಜಯಂತಿ ಆಚರಿಸಿದ್ದು ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರ. ತಾಂಡ್ಯಾಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂದಾಯ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರ. ಇನ್ನೂ 5 ಸಾವಿರ ತಾಂಡ್ಯಾಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂದಾಯ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ನಾವು ತಾಂಡ್ಯಾಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂದಾಯ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಮುನ್ನುಡಿ ಬರೆದೆವು. ಆದರೆ ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯವರು ನಮ್ಮ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಅವರು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದು ಹೇಗಿದೆ ಅಂದರೆ, “ಅಟ್ಟಿಕ್ಕಿದವರಿಗಿಂತ ಬೊಟ್ಟಿಕ್ಕಿದವರು ಮೇಲು” ಎನ್ನುವ ಗಾದೆ ಮಾತಿನಂತಾಗಿದೆ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಎಂದು ವ್ಯಂಗ್ಯವಾಡಿದರು.
ಬಂಜಾರ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಬಜೆಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ 275 ಕೋಟಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಸೇವಲಾಲ್ ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಇನ್ನಿತರೆ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಂತ ಹಂತವಾಗಿ ಹಣ ನೀಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎನ್ನುವ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಉಪ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಿ.ಕೆ.ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆ ಉಪಸಭಾಪತಿಗಳಾದ ರುದ್ರಪ್ಪ ಮಾನಪ್ಪ ಲಮಾಣಿ ಅವರು ಸೇವಾಲಾಲ್ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆ ಅನಾವರಣಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು. ಬಂಜಾರ ಕರಕುಶಲ ವಸ್ತು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಸಮಾಜ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಹೆಚ್.ಸಿ.ಮಹದೇವಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು.

Bangalore , October 4: Education makes us independent and frees us from exploitation, said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
He was speaking after inaugurating the Banjara Bhawan built as part of the association’s Golden Jubilee celebrations, organized by Karnataka Pradesh Banjara (Lambani) Seva Sangh in collaboration with Karnataka Tanda Development Corporation.
For thousands of years, we were all deprived of literacy culture. After the arrival of the British, educational opportunities opened up. Because of Dr. B.R Ambedkar, education became a basic right for all the deprived. This is why we all need to be educated. Education makes us self-respecting. If you have self-respect, you can escape from exploitation, he said.
The Chief Minister gave a list of the contributions made by the Congress government for the development of the Banjara community, said that it was our government which provided assistance to Sevalal Mutt, our government celebrated Sevalal Jayanti, it was our government that converted Tandas into revenue villages. He promised that 5 thousand more Tandas will be converted into revenue villages.
We wrote the foreword for converting Tandas as revenue villages. But BJP is claiming that they did our work. He quipped that the state of BJP is like the old saying that “Attikkidavaringinta Bottikkidavaru Melu”.
275 crore was given in the budget for the development of Banjara community. He assured that he will give money for other demands including Sevalal residential school in a phased manner in the coming days.
Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar inaugurated the programme. Deputy Speaker of Legislative Assembly Rudrappa Manappa Lamani unveiled the statue of Sewalal. Banjara Handicraft Exhibition was inaugurated by Social Welfare Minister Dr. H.C Mahadevappa.
MLC Prakash Rathod, MLAs Nemiraja Naik, Avinash Jadhav, Banjara Seva Sangh’s General Secretary H.B.Siddya Naik, Ex- MLA B.T.LalithaNayak, CM’s Political Secretary Govidaraju and others were present.
