ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಏ.07, 2020 : (www.justkannada.in news ) ಲಾಕ್ ಡೌನ್ ಈ ಬಿಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಆನೇಕಲ್ ಸಮೀಪದ ಶಿವನಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ಮಿಷನ್, ಹಸಿದವರಿಗೆ ನಿರಂತರ ಆಹಾರ ಪೂರೈಕೆಗೆ ತನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಸಜ್ಜುಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಅವಿರತ ಶ್ರಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಜಿಗಣಿ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಮತ್ತು ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ವರ್ಗದ ಜನತೆಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಹಸ್ತ ಚಾಚಿದೆ. ಇದರ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಶಕ್ತಿ ವಿಷ್ಣುಮಾಯಾನಂದ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿ. ಈ ಸಂದಿಗ್ಧ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗ ‘ ಪೂರೈಕೆ-ಸರಪಳಿ ‘ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಶಿವನಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ಮಿಷನ್ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕೈಜೋಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆಹಾರ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯ ಭಾಗವಾಗಲು ಉತ್ತಮ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಯಂಪ್ರೇರಿತರಾಗಿ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪೊಲೀಸರು, ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಜತೆ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಿ , ಸಮುದಾಯ ಆಹಾರ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆ ಮೂಲಕ ಜಿಗಣಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಆಹಾರ ಪ್ಯಾಕೆಟ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ವಲಸೆ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಿಗೆ ಆಹಾರಕ ವಿತರಿಸಲು ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿ ಮುಂದಾದ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಇನ್ಫೋಸಿಸ್ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ನ ಸುಧಾಮೂರ್ತಿ , 35 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ನೆರವು ನೀಡಿದರು. ಈ ಹಣದ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದಲೇ ಈತನಕ ಮಿಷನ್ ಆಹಾರ ವಿತರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿತು. ಆದರೆ ಇದೀಗ ಮುಂದೇನು ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಉದ್ಭವಿಸಿದೆ.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದಲೇ ಆಹಾರ ಪೂರೈಕೆಯ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಸರಾಗವಾಗಿ ಮುಂದುವರೆಯಲು ಧಾನಿಗಳು ಸಹಾಯ ಹಸ್ತ ಚಾಚಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಜಿಗಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಿಗೆ ಆಹಾರ ನೀಡಲು ನಮಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿ ಎಂದು ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿ ವಿನಂತಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ರಾಗಿಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಮುದಾಯ ಅಡಿಗೆ ಆಹಾರ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಮೂಲಕ ಆಹಾರ ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಸುಮಾರು 6,200 ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಿಗೆ (ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 6 ತನಕ) ಆಹಾರ ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿನ 700 ಕೆಜಿ ಅಕ್ಕಿ ಮತ್ತು ತರಕಾರಿಗೆಂದು 50,000 ರೂ ವೆಚ್ಚವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿನದ ಅಂದಾಜು ವೆಚ್ಚ 2 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ಅಂದಾಜು 200 ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಮಧ್ಯರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಗಟು ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತೆರಳಿ ದಿನಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ತರಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಖರೀದಿಸಿ ತಂದು ಆಹಾರ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆಗೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ವಿಷಯವೆಂದರೆ, ಆಹಾರ ತಯಾರಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿತರಣೆ ವೇಳೆ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಗೆ ಆಧ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಿ ಸರಕಾರ ನಿಗಧಿ ಪಡಿಸಿರುವ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು. ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕಂದಾಯ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಕರ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ಅರ್ಹ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು
ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಹಾರ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಜತೆಗೆ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರು ಹತ್ತಿ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾಸ್ಕ್ ತಯಾರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರತವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅವನ್ನು ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಈ ಬೃಹತ್ ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಲು ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲದ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಇದೆ. ಈ ತನಕ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರ ತಂಡ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಇದು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ದಾನಿಗಳ ಉದಾರ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಾವಶ್ಯಕ.
ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗ ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ಮಿಷನ್, ದಾನಿಗಳ ಬೆಂಬಲಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಎದುರು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಾಯ ಹಸ್ತ ಚಾಚುವವರು ಸ್ವಯಂ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಮುರಳಿ ಅವರನ್ನು 94812 47783 ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸುವುದು.

We need support to feed the hungry
In times of crisis, Ramakrishna Mission, Shivanahalli works with a missionary zeal. It taps all its contacts to mobilize resources – human and financial – to help the needy. Now a massive effort is on to feed the labour class in the Jigani industrial area and the surroundings in Bengaluru. Swamiji Vishnumayananda, the leading force behind the humane act, is now concerned whether the ‘supply-chain’ would continue.
The Mission located in Shivanahalli, Anekal taluk has provided free quality education to students in and around Shivanahalli, a remote village located closer to Bannerghatta. It is a branch of Ramakrishna Mutt and Mission, Belur.
Today the alumni of the School run by the Mission of Shivanahalli have volunteered in good numbers to be part of the food mission. Swamiji had a meeting with government officials including the police and revenue inspectors to plan for establishing a community kitchen
and distribute food packets to the labour class in Jigani. Till April 6, the community kitchen has seen only more and more hands extending for food.
The day Swamiji took the decision to do his bit, Infosys Foundation headed by Sudha Murthy immediately extended the financial support. The donation, which was to the tune of Rs 35 lakh, may suffice for about next one week. Later, the Mission doesn’t know how it can sustain the food supply. “We want philanthropists to come forward to help us in feeding labourers in Jigani. We are focusing on only migrant labourers in this industrial area,” Swamiji says. Grocerties have been supplied to villagers in Shivanahalli and surroundings.
The community kitchen at Ragihalli is preparing food which is catering to nearly 6,200 labourers (as on April 6) and a small section of the field staff of the government. Not less than 700 kgs of rice and vegetables worth Rs 50,000 goes into cooking per day. On an average Rs 2 lakh is spent a day to feed the labourers. Nearly 200 volunteers
are relentlessly working. They go to wholesale markets in midnight to
purchase groceries and vegetables. The markets are open in Bengaluru only in the wee hours for a short duration. They prepare food and distribute. Each food pack costs about Rs 40, Swamiji pointsout.
One noticeable thing is cleanliness maintained by the volunteers in the preparation and distribution of food. They are following the norms set by the government. The help of police and revenue inspectors have been taken to identify the needy and for distribution. The
volunteers are also sewing cotton clothes face masks in large numbers for free distribution.
The problem on hand mammoth. The challenges are plenty. Sustaining good deeds require financial support besides goodwill. The volunteers’ network developed by Swamiji over the years is working well. But now the Mission is eagerly looking forward for support in
the form of groceries, vegetables as well as cash.
Will samaritans join hands with the Mission to continue to feed the hungry mouths? Will industry owners in Jigani volunteer at this point? Instead of working in a silo, why not extend helping hand to the Mission? It is a fact that industries are under severe financial
stress from many months. But let not our fellow humans go without water and food.
