Bengaluru, Nov. 21, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): Sri Jagadish Shettar, Minister for Large and Medium Scale Industries, Sri Basavaraj Bommai, Home Minister, Sri Suresh Kumar, Primary and Secondary Education Minister and Sri B.C. Patil, Agriculture Minister stressed on the various programmes that have been implemented based on technology, apart from sharing information about the various programmes planned by respective departments.
Speaking on the occasion, Sri Jagadish Shetter, Minister for large scale industries opined that though the entire world has been facing the impact of Covid-19 pandemic, resulting in a decline in industrial development, Karnataka has been successful in recovering from the impact soon. He said that everything has become almost normal and production has also returned to normal.
In his address Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that the government has taken all necessary measures to face the cyber security challenges by adopting modern technological methods.
Minister Suresh Kumar expressed his view that the digital technology came to the help of students during the Covid pandemic time. “The State Government is all set to implement the National Education Programme-2020 rapidly,” he added.
Agriculture Minister B.C. Patil opined that Karnataka has taken a big step in the agricultural sector by adopting technology. “We have clearly understood that bio-technology is one of the best solution to solve the problem of shortage of food production,” he said.
