ಮರಾಠ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿ ನಿಗಮ ರಚನೆಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಸಿಎಂ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ಖಂಡಿಸಿ ಇಂದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮೆಜೆಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ರೈಲು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ರೈಲು ಚಳುವಳಿ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ವಾಟಾಳ್ ನಾಗರಾಜ್ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ನುಗ್ಗಲು ಯತ್ನಿಸಿದವರನ್ನ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತಡೆದರು.
ಇದಾದ ಬಳಿಕ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಜತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಕನ್ನಡಪರ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರ ವಾಟಾಳ್ ನಾಗರಾಜ್, ಮರಾಠಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ನಿಗಮ ರದ್ದು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಸಿಎಂ ಬಿಎಸ್ ವೈ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಸರ್ಪಗಾವಲು ಹಾಕಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನ ತಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 21 ರಂದು ನಾವು ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಗಡಿಗೆ ನುಗ್ಗುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಒಂದುಲಕ್ಷ ಮಂದಿ ಗಡಿಗೆ ನುಗ್ಗಿ ಮರಾಠ ನಾಮಫಲಕ ಕಿತ್ತು ಹಾಕುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂಇಎಸ್ ಏಜೇಂಟ್ ಗಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬೆಂಕಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದರೂ ಬಿಎಸ್ ವೈ ಸಭೆ ಕರೆದಿಲ್ಲ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಂಗ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು.

Bengaluru, Jan. 30, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Kannada activist Vatal Nagaraj has asked the State Government to cancel the Maratha Development Board and prohibit MES.
He had organised a protest at the Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Railway Station in Bengaluru today condemning the formation of Maratha Development Corporation and the recent statements of the Maharashtra Chief Minister raking up the border row. He along with his supporters were stopped by the police when they attempted to enter the City railway station.
Speaking to the press persons after that Vatal Nagaraj demanded Chief Minister B.S. Yedyurappa to cancel the Maratha Development Corporation or resign himself. “Today the police have stopped us, but we will penetrate the Mahrashtra border on February 21. Along with one lakh people I will enter the border and remove Marathi name boards,” he warned.
