ವಿವಿಧ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳು ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಗೆ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಿದ ಸಿಎಂ ಬಿಎಸ್ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ, ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಚಾರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಸಂವಿಧಾನದ ಚೌಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ವಾಲ್ಮೀಕಿ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನ ನಾನೇ ಕರೆಸಿದ್ದೆ. ಸಮುದಾಯದ ನಾಯಕರ ಜತೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಮುದಾಯದವರಿಗೂ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಸಿಎಂ ಬಿಎಸ್ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ನುಡಿದರು.

Bengaluru, Feb. 18, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Chief Minister B.S. Yedyurappa today informed that his government would decide on reservations after discussing within the constitutional framework.
Responding to the media persons question on demand for reservation by various communities the Chief Minister said that a discussion would be held in the cabinet on reservations. “I have already discussed all the aspects regarding reservations and we will arrive at a suitable decision within the constitutional framework.”
“I had invited the Valmiki community leaders to discuss with them. I will try to provide justice to all the communities,” he added.
