ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 5,2021(www.justkannada.in): ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು 15 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಲಸಿಕೆ ಡೋಸ್ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಜನರು ಲಸಿಕೆ ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಕೆ.ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಜತೆ ಇಂದು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಚಿವ ಸುಧಾಕರ್, ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನೆವರೆಗೆ 46,02,000 ಮಂದಿಗೆ ಲಸಿಕೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. 12 ಲಸಿಕೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತುಕತೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಬಳಿಕ 15 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಲಸಿಕೆ ದೊರೆತಿದೆ. 10 ಲಕ್ಷ ಡೋಸ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ 5 ಲಕ್ಷ ಡೋಸ್ ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದರು.
ರಜೆ ಇದ್ದಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸೋಂಕಿತರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಇಳಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಸುರಕ್ಷತಾ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡ್ಡಾಯವಾಗಿ ಪಾಲಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಇಳಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು. ಎಂಟು ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಯವರು ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಿ, ಕಠಿಣ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಠಿಣ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ವಹಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಬಗೆಯ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಬರುವುದು ಬೇಡ. ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಂಕಿತರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸುವುದು ಬೇಡ ಎಂದರು.
ಸೋಂಕಿತರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದರೆ ಹಾಸಿಗೆ ಕೊರತೆಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ, ಖಾಸಗಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳ ಬಳಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಇನ್ನೂ ಮೇ ಅಂತ್ಯದವರೆಗೆ ಇದನ್ನು ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಸಲಹಾ ಸಮಿತಿಯವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಎರಡನೇ ಅಲೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸಿ ಜೀವ ಉಳಿಸುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸಹಕಾರ ಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಆರೂವರೆ ಸಾವಿರ ಸೋಂಕಿತರು ಕಂಡುಬರುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ತಜ್ಞರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸೋಂಕು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಮಾಡದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅಂತಹ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಬರಬಹುದು. ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ಸಲಹೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ನಾವು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಸಮಯ ಬಂದಾಗ ಪ್ರತಿಪಕ್ಷದವರನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ಕರೆದು ಚರ್ಚಿಸೋಣ ಎಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ವಿಕ್ಟೋರಿಯಾ, ಬೌರಿಂಗ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹಾಸಿಗೆ ಮೀಸಲಿಡುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ. ಇದರ ಕಡೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಖಾಸಗಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇ.20 ರಷ್ಟು ಹಾಸಿಗೆ ಮೀಸಲಿಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಬೇಕಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.

Bengaluru – April 5, 2021:
All necessary measures have been taken to ensure sufficient supply of vaccine to the state and there is no question of shortage. State has received 15 lakh additional dosages of Covid Vaccine in two consignment to Bengaluru and Belagavi, said Health & Medical Education Minister Dr.K.Sudhakar. He was speaking to the media here on Monday.
More than 46 lakh people have been vaccinated so far. We were having 12 lakh dosages and after a speaking with Union Health Ministry additional 15 lakh dosages have been allocated to our state out of which 10 lakh dosages have been sent to Bengaluru and 5 lakh to Belagavi. I express my gratitude to Union Government for this gesture he said.
Number of cases have been reduced due to series of holidays. We can reduce it further if guidelines are properly followed. PM has interacted with 8 states and has suggested them to take stringent measures. Maharashtra has imposed tougher measures, let us not push ourselves into such a situation where tougher measures become inevitable. Nonetheless we should not underestimate the scale and speed in which infection is spreading, cautioned the Minister.
We may face shortage of beds if number of cases increases drastically. we have collected the information regarding availability of beds in government hospitals. We have also initiated talks with private hospitals to reserve beds for Covid treatment. As per the advise of technical advisory committee, we need to consider the pandemic seriously till May end. We need to contain second wave and save lives. Public cooperation is paramount in this, said Dr.Sudhakar.
As per experts’ opinion there is a possibility of more than 6500 cases per day in Bengaluru alone. If we do not contain the spread, we will see further surge in cases. If situation arises, CM is willing to take the suggestions of opposition parties as well. t
There is a need to increase Covid reserve beds in Victoria and Bowring hospitals and we will do that. Also, there is a need to increase the percentage of beds reseverd in private hospitals for Covid treatment from the existing 20%, said the Minister.
