Speaking about this in Bengaluru today, Chief Minister B.S. Yedyurappa said the government has fulfilled 8 out of the total 9 demands and said that he is ready to solve if there are problems in the 8 demands which have been fulfilled. “People are facing trouble. I am not the one who is being adamant. The financial condition of the State is not good. Please try to understand. Please return to work,” he appealed.
He also repeated that implementation of the 6th pay commission is impossible at any cost and the government is not ready to discuss this with the protestors. “Out of the total revenue 85 percent is being spent on employees’ salaries and hence they should understand,” he added.
