Mysuru, June 28, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): An Educational Experts Committee has been formed led by Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore, to submit a report on commencing a new varsity at the PG Centre in the University of Mysore.
The Post Graduate Centre of the University of Mysore is presently functioning in Chamarajanagara District. It is proposed to convert this PG Centre as the main campus and establish a new Varsity in Chamarajanagar. A committee has been formed under the UoM VC to check the possibilities and submit a report regarding this.
The committee will check and submit a report on establishing the new varsity for the Chamarajanagara District.
Prof. V.G. Talawar, former Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore, Kemparaju, Registrar, Bengaluru North University are also part of the committee. Prof. Gopalakrishna Joshi, Executive Director, Karnataka State Higher Education Council will be the convener.
