Mysuru, August 15, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): “Mahatma Gandhiji is not with us today. But his thoughts and principles still exist in us,” opined Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore.
He inaugurated the 75 sapling planting program held at the Gandhi Bhavana, in Manasagangotri campus on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day celebrations organized by the University of Mysore today. “Mahatma Gandhiji possessed a unique personality. He attracted the attention of the entire world through his thoughts of truth and non-violence. He brought independence to our country through his non-violence principles,” he said.
