ಮೈಸೂರು,ಆಗಸ್ಟ್,20,2021(www.justkannada.in): ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಬಂದ ಬೆನ್ನಲ್ಲೆ ಹುಣಸೂರನ್ನ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಎಂಎಲ್ ಸಿ ಹೆಚ್.ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ್ ಒತ್ತಡ ಹೇರಿದ್ದರು. ಆದಾದ ನಂತರ ಕೆಲ ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಈ ವಿಚಾರವನ್ನ ಕೈಬಿಡಲಾಗುತ್ತು. ಇದೀಗ ಮತ್ತೆ ಹುಣಸೂರು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಕೂಗು ಮುನ್ನಲೆಗೆ ಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಹುಣಸೂರು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಾಗಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಎಂಎಲ್ ಸಿ ಹೆಚ್.ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಹುಣಸೂರು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಶಾಸಕ ಹೆಚ್.ಪಿ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಒಂದಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹುಣಸೂರು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಮೈಸೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಸಚಿವ ಎಸ್.ಟಿ ಸೋಮಶೇಖರ್ ಗೆ ಮನವಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ಇಬ್ಬರು ನಾಯಕರು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಮೈಸೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಒತ್ತಡ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಹುಣಸೂರು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಜಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಇಬ್ಬರು ನಾಯಕರು ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಇದೇ ವಿಚಾರವನ್ನ ಮುಂದಿನ ಅಧಿವೇಶನದಲ್ಲೂ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Demand for separate district comes to light again in Hunsur: Two leaders decide to submit appeal
Mysuru, August 20, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): As soon as the BJP came to power in the State, MLC H. Vishwanath demanded the government to make Hunsur a district. A few days later, the issue was forgotten. But the demand for a separate District has come to light again now.
BJP MLC H. Vishwanath and Hunsur Congress MLA H.P. Manjunath have joined hands together, demanding separate district status for Hunsur. Both the leaders have decided to submit an appeal to the Mysuru District In-charge Minister S.T. Somashekar.
Both the leaders have opined that they are demanding separate district status for Hunsur, to reduce the pressure on Mysuru District. They also have informed that they would raise this issue in the assembly.
