Mysuru, August 20, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The students of the Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) are in a confusion following the withdrawal of orders regarding distribution of marks cards.
On April 8, the KSOU Registrar (Exams) had issued a notification mentioning that the marks cards of the students who had registered before 2012-13 will be distributed as per the approval of the Vice-Chancellor of KSOU. Degree, Post Graduate, Diploma (non-technical) students who had enrolled earlier to 2012-13 in the collaborated institutes are eligible to get the convocation certificates. They can get the certificates through the collaborated institutions. In case if the collaborated institutions are not functioning students can apply directly, according to the notification.
Thousands of students had paid the fees and applied to get the marks card and were waiting. But now the KSOU Registrar (Admin) issued another order on August 8, mentioning that the notification which was issued on April 8 by the Registrar (Exams) is withdrawn, triggering confusion among the students.
