Kabul, August 21, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Talibans have conquered Afghanistan and their atrocities have become intolerable. The government of India has made arrangements to bring back Indians who are stuck in Afghanistan.
It is learnt that an IPS officer from Karnataka is also stuck in Afghanistan. According to sources, an officer named Savitha Hande, who was working as an officer in the security division in Kabul is stuck there.
Savitha Hande had performed duty at various levels in several places including Holenarasipura, Bidar, Udupi, and Bengaluru. She also has carried out duty as the DCP in Administration Division in Bengaluru. She was promoted in the year 2000 to Central services. She was a colleague of the present Bengaluru Police Commissioner Kamal Pant, Railway ADGP Bhaskar Rao.
