Mysuru, September 25, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The ticket fare of the world-famous Ambavilasa Palace has been increased from today even as the Mysuru Dasara celebrations are fast approaching.
The Palace authorities have increased the entrance ticket fare increasing the burden of the visitors and the tourists who are already facing troiuble due to the steep increase in the prices of all essential commodities across the country. Accordingly, the entrance ticket fare that was earlier Rs.70 has now been increased to Rs. 100 per head. The ticket fare for children who are accompanied by their parents was earlier Rs. 30, which is increased to Rs. 50.
The ticket fare for the school children, which was earlier Rs.20 is increased to Rs.50 per head. The fare of the Kannada sound and light program has not been increased. However, the ticket fare of the English Sound and Light program has been fixed at Rs. 120 per head. The income of the palace authorities had reduced from the last one-and-a-half year due to the Corona lockdown.
