ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 30, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳದ ಭವಾನಿಪುರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಉಪ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಇಂದು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಮಮತಾ ಬ್ಯಾನರ್ಜಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಗ್ನಿಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ಬಿಗಿ ಭದ್ರತೆ ನಡುವೆ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಬಿರುಸಿನಿಂದ ಮತದಾನ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಹಿಂಸಾಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಸರುವಾಸಿಯಾದ ಬಂಗಾಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಗಮವಾಗಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ನಡೆಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಗ ಬಿಗಿ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.

ಮಮತಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಈ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಜನ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು. ಬದಲಾದ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಲೆಕ್ಕಾಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಮತಾ ಕಳೆದ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಂದಿಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸಿ ಪರಾಭವಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.
