“ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಜನರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಇದೆ. ನಮ್ಮದು ಜನಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ. ಬಿಪಿಎಲ್ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ದುಡಿಯುವ ಸದಸ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡವರಿಗೆ 1 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ ವಿಪತ್ತು ಪರಿಹಾರ ನಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ವಿಧಾನ ಸೌಧದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಕೋವಿಡ್‌ನಿಂದ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ 50 ಸಾವಿರ ರೂ. ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಬಿಪಿಎಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ಇರುವವರಿಗೆ ಒಟ್ಟು 1.5 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ಪರಿಹಾರ ಸಿಗುತ್ತದೆ” ಎಂದು ಭರವಸೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಎಲ್ಲ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕು ಕಚೇರಿ, ನಾಡ ಕಚೇರಿ, ಬಿಬಿಎಂಪಿ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬಹುದು. ಎಲ್ಲೇ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರೂ ಮೃತರ ವಾಸಸ್ಥಳ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಮರಣ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪತ್ರ ಹೊಂದಿರಬೇಕು. ಬಿಪಿಎಲ್ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ದುಡಿಯುವ ಸದಸ್ಯ ನಾಗಿರಬೇಕು ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಮೃತರ ವಯಸ್ಸು 18 ವರ್ಷ ತುಂಬಿರಬೇಕು’ ಎಂದು ಮಾರ್ಗಸೂಚಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಆರ್. ಅಶೋಕ್ ವಿವರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Bengaluru, September 30, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Revenue Minister R. Ashok has clarified that the State Government will provide a sum of Rs. 1 lakh as compensation to the BPL family members of those who died due to COVID.
Speaking at the Vidhana Soudha today, he informed that the State Government is for the people, and the present government is people-friendly. “We will provide Rs. 1 lakh compensation from the Disaster Relief Funds. The Govt. of India will provide Rs.50,000. Thus the BPL families who have lost their members due to COVID will get Rs. 1.5 lakh compensation,” he informed.
Guidelines
The guidelines to claim the compensation amount is as follows: The application seeking compensation can be submitted at all the Taluk Offices, BBMP Ward Offices. Wherever the person might have expired, the application should be submitted in the place where the deceased was living. The claimants should possess a valid Death Certificate, be a working member of the BPL family, and should be above 18 years of age.
