ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜು.24, 2019 : (www.justkannada.in news) : ‘ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ–ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ‘ ಘೋಷವಾಕ್ಯದಡಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನ 107 ನೇ ಸಮಾವೇಶ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ನ 107ನೇ ಸಮಾವೇಶ 2020ರ ಜನವರಿ 3 ರಿಂದ 7ರವರೆಗೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಕೃಷಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ (ಜಿಕೆವಿಕೆ) ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಮಾವೇಶವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸುವರು.

‘ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ–ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಎಂಬ ಘೋಷವಾಕ್ಯದಡಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ಈ ಸಮಾವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶ–ವಿದೇಶಗಳ ಸುಮಾರು 20 ಸಾವಿರ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವರು. ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ, ಉಪರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ, ನೊಬೆಲ್‌ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತರು, ಸಾರ್ಕ್‌ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು, ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸರು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಐದು ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಮಾವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳುವರು’
ಮೂಲ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಸಮಾವೇಶ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಕುರಿತು ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಕೃಷಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಯಾವ ರೀತಿ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆಳಕು ಚೆಲ್ಲಲಾಗುವುದು.
ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಮಾವೇಶದ ಜೊತೆಗೇ, ರೈತರು, ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು, ಮಕ್ಕಳು, ಯುವಸಮೂಹ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತ ಕುಲಪತಿಗಳ ಸಮಾವೇಶವೂ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ.
ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಸ್ತುಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಸಮಾವೇಶದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆ. ಇಸ್ರೊ, ಡಿಆರ್‌ಡಿಒದಂತಹ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸಿದ ಮಾದರಿಗಳ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಶಾಲಾ–ಕಾಲೇಜು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಸ್ತುಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಬಹುದು
ಐದು ದಿನಗಳ ಈ ಸಮಾವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಬಯಸುವ ಗಣ್ಯರಿಗೆ 1,800 ರೂ. ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ 1,000 ರೂ. ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಶುಲ್ಕ ನಿಗದಿಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ನವೆಂಬರ್‌ 15ರೊಳಗೆ ನೋಂದಣಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

“Farmers Science Congress” will be organised in 107th Indian Science Congress held at University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS) Bengaluru.
BANGALORE : “The 107th Indian Science Congress (ISC) will be held at University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS) Bengaluru from January 3rd to 7th, next year.”
The University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, will host the 107th Indian Science Congress (ISC) from 3-7th January 2020 with Science and Technology and Rural Development as the focal theme.
Speaking to media on Tuesday Vice-Chancellor of University of Agriculture Sciences, Bangalore, Dr S Rajendra Prasad said: “The prime minister will inaugurate the event and over 20,000 delegates comprising Nobel Laureates, scientists, scholars and lead speakers from foreign institutions, policymakers, students and other delegates are expected to participate in the congress.
“For the first time an exclusive session on “Farmers Science Congress” will be organised where farmers from across the country will deliberate on issues related to rural development in general and agricultural development in particular,” he said.
President of Indian Science Congress Dr KS Rangappa said: “It is also decided to have an exclusive session on ‘Former Vice-Chancellors Congress’ to deliberate on issues related to higher education in the country. In this context, the theme of the congress gains significance and provides an excellent platform for the science fraternity to discuss new scientific ideas their sustainable livelihoods.
