New Delhi, February 1, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): The Government of India has given its nod for the project to join Kaveri-Pennar and Krishna-Pennar rivers. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Seetharaman announced it in the budget today.
The Finance Minister presented the Union budget today in the Parliament where this announcement was made. Keeping in mind the interest and benefit of the farmers and agriculture approval is given to join the Kaveri-Pennar, Krishna-Pennar rivers, she announced.
Allocation is made in the budget for this purpose. Also, 2023 is announced as International Millets Year, giving a call to make India a chemical-free nation.
Capital investment in Air India has been completely drawn. Ensuring 9.2% GDP, an extension of credit scheme to small scale industries till March 2023, increasing Rs.50,000 grants to Rs.5 lakh crore, approval to conduct online skill development training were also announced by the finance minister in today’s budget.
