New Delhi, February 1, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): The Income Tax slabs have not been changed in this budget. Finance Minister Nirmala Seetharaman announced that there will be no changes in the income tax slabs.
The Finance Minister presented 1 hour, 33 minutes duration Union Budget today. “We are introducing a new tax policy. Accordingly, a duration of 2 years will be given to set right the mistakes in payment of income tax,” she said. The surcharge on cooperative societies has been reduced to 7% from 12%.
Uniform tax on Central and State Government employees; shock for IT violators – No facilities for those who violate tax policy; companies that bypass tax will be black listed; tax rebate on startups to continue till next year are a few other highlights of the 2022-23 budget.
