ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಸೆ.22, 2021 : (www.justkannada.in news ) ಕೊರೋನ ಸಾಂಕ್ರಾಮಿಕ ರೋಗದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪೋಷಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಶಾಲಾ ಶುಲ್ಕವನ್ನು ಪಾವತಿಸಲು ಹೆಣಗಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯ ತಾಳಿದ್ದು ಆಮ್ ಆದ್ಮಿ ಪಾರ್ಟಿ ಪೋಷಕರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಫೀಸ್ ಇಳಿಸಲು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಬೃಹತ್ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡಿತು.
ಆಮ್ ಆದ್ಮಿ ಪಾರ್ಟಿಯ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಈ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪೋಷಕರು, ಪೋಷಕರ ಸಂಘ, ಸಮನ್ವಯ ಸಮಿತಿ, ವಾಯ್ಸ್ ಆಫ್ ಪೇರೆಂಟ್ಸ್ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಪಕ್ಷದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಂಚಾಲಕ ಪೃಥ್ವಿ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ “ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಬಿಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನ ನಂತರ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಎದುರಿಸಿದ ಬೃಹತ್ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಎಂದರೆ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಬಿಕ್ಕಟ್ಟು. ಸಾಲು ಸಾಲು ಲಾಕ್ ಡೌನ್ ನಿಂದಾಗಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಪೋಷಕರು ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದಾಯ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಉಳಿತಾಯವೂ ಖರ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟದ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಇವರಿಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಫೀಸ್ ಪಾವತಿಸಲು ಹೇಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯ?” ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದರು.
ಮಾಜೀ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವ ಸುರೇಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರ ಅವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳಿಂದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳು ಬಿಗಡಾಯಿಸಿದೆ. ಇವರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ 30% ಶುಲ್ಕ ಇಳಿಸಲು ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಇಳಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟತೆ ನೀಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಮೊರೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದವು ಮತ್ತು ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ 15% ಶುಲ್ಕ ಇಳಿಸಲು ಆದೇಶ ನೀಡಿದೆ.
“ಇದರಿಂದ ಏನೂ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಪೋಷಕರು ಶುಲ್ಕದ ಉಳಿದ ಮೊತ್ತವನ್ನು ಭರಿಸಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಹೇಗೆ ನೆರವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಪ್ರತೀ ಮಗುವಿಗೆ 14 ವರ್ಷದ ತನಕ ಉಚಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡುವುದು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ. ಆದರೆ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಸೋತಿದೆ.
ಈ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ವೀಕ್ಷಕ ರೋಮಿ ಭಾಟಿ ಅವರು “ಈ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗೆ ಇರುವ ಏಕೈಕ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಎಂದರೆ ದೆಹಲಿ ಮಾದರಿಯಂತೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿ ಮಾಡುವುದು. ಸತತ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟ ಸರ್ಕಾರಗಳು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಅಧಿಕಾರದ ಚುಕ್ಕಾಣಿ ಹಿಡಿದ ಕಾರಣ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕುಲಗೆಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪೋಷಕರೂ ನಿರಾಸಕ್ತಿ ತಾಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಆಮ್ ಆದ್ಮಿ ಪಾರ್ಟಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಸಮರ್ಪಕ ನಿರ್ಣಯವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ತನಕ ಹೋರಾಟವನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದೇ ಬರುವ ಆದಿತ್ಯವಾರ ಫ್ರೀಡಂ ಪಾರ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ “ಚಿಂತನ ಮಂಥನ” ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

Accusing the BJP Govt of being callous and indifferent towards the suffering of parents in matter of paying school fees during the pandemic, the Aam Aadmi Party Karnataka today staged a strong protest demanding the Govt support parents in their time of need
Attended by a strong contingent of parents and parents associations, Samanvaya Samiti and Voice of Parents , besides hundreds of Aam Aadmi workers, the protest clearly cautioned new Education Minister, Shri BC Nagesh, that he must take action in this matter immediately.
“Next to the Health crisis, the biggest issue today in our State is the Education crisis“ said Shri Prithvi Reddy, Karnataka State Convenor AAP. “Repeated lockdowns have caused lakhs of parents to lose jobs, incomes, businesses and savings. How do we expect them to pay school fees now?” he asked.
The former BJP Education Minister,Dr Suresh Kumar, merely sidestepped the matter and asked the schools to reduce fees by 30%, without asking how they may do that. Schools went to High Court and last week, High Court asked schools to reduce fees by 15%.
“This is clearly not enough relief. The real question is, how is the Govt going to support parents to at least make up the balance.
It is the duty of the Govt to provide quality education for children at least up to the age of 14, as per the Right to Education Act. This BJP Govt has failed miserably to do so and must be held accountable.”
“The ultimate solution, is dramatic improvement of free Govt schools, as the AAP Govt in Delhi has done. However, in Karnataka, corruption and political nexus by successive parties in power has led to no improvement of Govt schools, so it is not even an option today for parents “ said Romi Bhati, AAP State Observer.
“For now, Aam Aadmi Party demands that the Govt supports parents through financial assistance to reduce the burden of school fees on them. Either a scholarship for children or by paying salaries of teachers so that the schools can pass on a corresponding reduction in fees to parents could be alternative ways to do this.
