ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮಾಗಡಿ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಟೋಲ್ ಗೇಟ್ ಬಳಿ ಡಾ. ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ್ ಅವರ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನ ಧ್ವಂಸ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ್ ಅವರ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ತಡರಾತ್ರಿ ಕಿಡಿಗೇಡಿಗಳು ಧ್ವಂಸಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ್ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳು ಜಮಾಯಿಸಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದು, ದುಷ್ಕರ್ಮಿಗಳ ಪತ್ತೆಗೆ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮಾಗಡಿ ರಸ್ತೆ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದು, ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಿಡಿಗೇಡಿ ಪತ್ತೆಗೆ ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ್ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಹಿಂದೆಯೂ ಇದೇ ರೀತಿ ಕಿಡಿಗೇಡಿಗಳು ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ್ ಅವರ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನ ಹೊತ್ತೊಯ್ದಿದ್ದರು. ಇದೀಗ ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ್ ಅವರ ಪುಣ್ಯಸ್ಮರಣೆಗೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿನ ಬಾಕಿ ಇರುವಾಗಲೇ ಈ ಕೃತ್ಯವೆಸಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Bengaluru, Dec. 26, (www.justkannada.in): In an incident, miscreants have wrecked the bust of Kannada matinee idol Dr. Vishnuvardhan in Bengaluru, triggering ire among the fans, who staged a protest condemning the act.
A bust of Dr. Vishnuvardhan, near Magadi road toll gate, has been wrecked by some miscreants during night hours. Fans of the matinee idol staged a demonstration condemning the act and demanded to find out the culprits at the earliest and punish them.
