Bengaluru, Dec. 9, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): “I along with the Animal Husbandry, Cooperation, and Revenue Ministers will conduct a state wide tour after the assembly session, to educate the farmers about Govt. of India’s new agriculture bill,” opined Agriculture Minister B.C. Patil.
Speaking to the media persons in Bengaluru on Wednesday he said that farmers need to protest as the new agriculture bill has been introduced for the advantage of the farmers. “In its’ 2019 manifesto, the Congress had ensured to cancel APMC and introduce an open market. Our government has done the same, that’s all. The Congress people should in fact appreciate this and should not oppose it with a politically vested interest,” he said.
