ಎಸ್ ಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ಎಸ್ ಟಿ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಇಂದು ಸಿಎಂ ಬಸವರಾಜ ಬೊಮ್ಮಾಯಿ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ವಪಕ್ಷ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಪಕ್ಷ ನಾಯಕ ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಮಯ್ಯ, ಮಾಜಿ ಸಿಎಂ ಹೆಚ್,ಡಿ ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ಕಾನೂನು ಸಚಿವ ಜೆಸಿ ಮಾಧುಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಸೇರಿ ಹಲವು ನಾಯಕರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಸಭೆ ಬಳಿಕ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಸಿಎಂ ಬಸವರಾಜ ಬೊಮ್ಮಾಯಿ, ಜಾತಿ ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯಾವಾರು ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಹೇಳಿದೆ. ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಆಶಯದಂತೆ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಬೇಕು. ಎಸ್ .ಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ಎಸ್ ಟಿ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಸಂಬಂಧ ನಾಗಮೋಹನ್ ದಾಸ್ ಸಮಿತಿ ವರದಿ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಎಸ್.ಸಿ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಶೇ. 15ರಿಂದ ಶೇ 17ಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಎಸ್ ಟಿ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಶೇ.3 ರಿಂದ ಶೇ.7ಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಸರ್ವಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ಸಹಮತದಿಂದ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ನಾಳೆಯೇ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಮುದ್ರೆ ಒತ್ತುತ್ತೇವೆ. ನಾಳೆ ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಸರ್ವ ಪಕ್ಷ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಗೊಂಡ ನಿರ್ಣಯವನ್ನ ಸಂಪುಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸಿ ನಾಳೆಯೇ ಅನುಮೋದಿಸಿ ಆದೇಶ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಸಿಎಂ ಬೊಮ್ಮಾಯಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

Decision to increase reservation for SC/STs taken at all party meeting
Bengaluru, October 7, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai today informed that the a decision to increase the reservation for SCs and STs was taken in the all party meeting.
An all party meeting was held today, under the leadership of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. Leader of the opposition in the assembly Siddaramaiah, former CM H.D. Kumaraswamy, Law minister JC Madhuswamy and other leaders were present.
Speaking after the meeting CM Basavaraj Bommai informed that the constitution seeks to provide caste based reservations. Accordingly, the reservation percentage should be increased. The Nagamohan Das Committee has submitted the report concerning increasing the SC, ST reservation. Accordingly, it has been decided to increase the reservation from 15% to 17% for SCs and 3% to 7% for STs. This decision has been taken with consent from all parties. It will be approved tomorrow in the cabinet meeting, he informed.
