Mysuru, Nov. 11, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): Health and Medical Education Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar today instructed the officials concerned to take necessary measures to quickly solve all the problems faced by the Mysore Medical College management.
He gave strict instructions to cancel the separate contracts given to the Medical College, K.R. Hospital, Cheluvamba Hospital and PK Sanitorium, and issue a single contract, in order to set right the drawbacks in outsourcing.
He visited the Mysore Medical College on Wednesday and inspected the progress of education and management. He also asked to give prominence to maintain transparency and quality in all the works and instructed to submit reports to the government in case of any legal glitches.
In his response to Chamaraja Constituency MLA L. Nagendra he said measures will be taken to establish a cancer centre in the super speciality hospital, under PPP model. On the occasion he also instructed to forward the Rs.52 crore proposal to renovate the K.R. Hospital buildings that is going to celebrate its centenary next year and assured its approval by the government.
