Bengaluru, May 30, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): In an incident, miscreants painted farmer leader Rakesh Tikait’s face black and tried to attack him in Bengaluru.
The incident took place during the self-retrospection clarification meeting on the farmers’ movement, held at the Gandhi Bhavana in Bengaluru today. Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait was addressing a press meet. He demanded to arrest Karnataka farmers’ leader Kodihalli Chandrashekar who is facing allegations of involving in corruption over the farmers’ protest.
At this juncture, a few miscreants started arguing with the Tikait and pained Tikait and Yaduveer Singh’s faces black, and attempted to attack them. The national farmer leaders were in Bengaluru to clarify the allegations of corruption charged against farmer leader Kodihalli Chandrashekar. Police have arrested those who defaced the farmer leader.
