ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಸೆಪ್ಟಂಬರ್,6,2022(www.justkannada.in): ರಸ್ತೆ ವಿಭಜಕಕ್ಕೆ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿದ್ದ ಜಾಹೀರಾತು ಫಲಕ ತಗುಲಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯೊಬ್ಬರು ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟ ಘಟನೆ ಸಿದ್ದಾಪುರ-ವರ್ತೂರು ಮುಖ್ಯರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಮವಾರ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆ.
ಸಿದ್ದಾಪುರ- ವರ್ತೂರು ಮುಖ್ಯರಸ್ತೆ ಸಮೀಪದ ಡಿ-ಮಾರ್ಟ್‌ ಬಳಿ ಈ ಅವಘಡ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆ. ಅಖಿಲಾ (23) ನಿನ್ನೆ ರಾತ್ರಿ 9 ಗಂಟೆ ಸುಮಾರಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರ ವಾಹನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಮಳೆ ನೀರಿನಿಂದಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಸ್ಕೂಟರ್‌ ಆಯಾ ತಪ್ಪಿ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಬಿತ್ತು, ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ರಸ್ತೆ ವಿಭಜಕಕ್ಕೆ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿದ್ದ ಜಾಹೀರಾತು ಫಲಕದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಖಿಲಾ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜಾಹೀರಾತು ಫಲಕಕ್ಕೆ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿದ್ದ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್‌ ಪ್ರವಹಿಸಿ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಬೆಸ್ಕಾಂ ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಇದೊಂದು ಇಲಾಖೇತರ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್‌ ಅವಘಡವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಬೆಸ್ಕಾಂ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಯದಿಂದ ಅವಘಡ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಬೆಸ್ಕಾಂ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ. ಬೆಸ್ಕಾಂನ ಯಾವುದೇ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್‌ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಅಥವಾ ತಂತಿ, ಅವಘಡ ನಡೆದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾದುಹೋಗಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಬೆಸ್ಕಾಂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಂದ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಬಂದ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಆ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್‌ ಫೀಡರ್‌ ನ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಕಡಿತಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ರಾತ್ರಿ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಜಿ.ಎಸ್‌ ಮೀಡಿಯಾ ಕಂಪನಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಜಾಹೀರಾತು ಫಲಕದಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್‌ ಪ್ರವಹಿಸಿ ಮಹಿಳೆ ಮೃತ ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಬೆಸ್ಕಾಂ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.
ಮೃತ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಖಾಸಗಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಸಾಗಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಿಕಲ್‌ ಇನ್ಸ್ ಪೆಕ್ಟರೇಟ್‌ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ವೈಟ್‌ ಫೀಲ್ಡ್‌ ಪೋಲಿಸ್‌ ಠಾಣೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ.

Woman killed after accidently touching advertisement hoarding
Bengaluru: A 23-year-old- woman died near Siddapura- Varthur main road after she accidently came in contact with advertisement hoarding erected on road divider on Monday evening.
This fatal non-departmental accident occurred at 9 PM, the deceased lady was identified as Akhila (23). She was riding on her two-wheeler in midst of heavy pouring on last night, due to waterlogged her scooter was skidded, that time she fell on advertisement hoardings erected on divider and got electrocuted, said BESCOM officials who visited the spot.
Soon after the received the call from the public, power supply disconnected by tripping the feeder at sub station and BESCOM officials rushed to the spot. There was no BESCOM wire found around the hoarding, locals told that she was shifted to nearby hospital.
BESCOM officials stated that one advertisement hoarding belongs to G.S. Media, Siddapura. Officials of electrical inspectorate has visited the spot and initiated the enquiry. Whitefield police have registered the case. Body was shifted to private hospital, said BESCOM release.
