ನವದೆಹಲಿ,ಜುಲೈ,29,2021(www.justkannada.in): ರಾಜ್ಯದ ನೂತನ ಸಿಎಂ ಆಗಿ ಬಸವರಾಜ ಬೊಮ್ಮಾಯಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ನಂತರ ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟ ಸೇರಲು ಹಲವು ಶಾಸಕರ ಲಾಬಿ ಶುರುವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಈ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಬಿಎಸ್ ವೈ ಸಂಪುಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಚಿವರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಉಮೇಶ್ ಕತ್ತಿ ಇದೀಗ ಮತ್ತೆ ಮಂತ್ರಿಗಿರಿ ಗಿಟ್ಟಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಕಸರತ್ತು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ನಡುವೆ ನವದೆಹಲಿಗೆ ತೆರಳಿರುವ ಮಾಜಿ ಸಚಿವ ಉಮೇಶ್ ಕತ್ತಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಜತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಸಿಎಂ ಬಸವರಾಜ ಬೊಮ್ಮಾಯಿ ಸಂಪುಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಚಿವನಾಗುವ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇದೆ. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಸಿಎಂ ಸಂಪುಟ ರಚಿಸಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಹಿಂದೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಬಾರಿ ಸಚಿವನಾಗಿದ್ದೆ. ಈಗ ಸಚಿವ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಸಿಗುವ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇದೆ. ಸಚಿವ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಸಿಕ್ಕರೆ ಅಖಂಡ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಶ್ರಮಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಸಚಿವ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಸಿಗದಿದ್ದರೇ ಶಾಸಕನಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಇಂದು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವ ಅಮಿತ್ ಶಾ, ಜೆ.ಪಿ ನಡ್ಡಾ, ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಅವರ ಭೇಟಿಗೆ ಸಮಯ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಸಮಯ ನೀಡಿದರೇ ವರಿಷ್ಠರನ್ನ ಭೇಟಿಯಾಗುವೆ ಎಂದು ಉಮೇಶ್ ಕತ್ತಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

New Delhi, July 29, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Lobbying to get a berth in the newly selected Chief Minister’s cabinet has started. Former Minister Umesh Katti has also started lobbying for a berth.
Umesh Katti, who is visiting New Delhi, spoke to the press persons and said he is confident that he would get a berth in CM Basavaraj Bommai’s cabinet. “I am sure that the CM won’t form the cabinet without me,” he said.
“I have been a minister four times earlier. Now also I am confident of getting a berth. I promise to work for the development of the entire state if given a chance. I am going to Delhi to visit party leaders Amit Shah, J.P. Nadda and Santhosh. I will meet them if they provide me a slot,” he added.
