Mysuru, Feb. 2, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): “If the producers won’t agree to our distribution formula we won’t commence cinema halls. If the producers won’t agree to our conditions we won’t open the theatres,” opined R.R. Odugoudar of the Karnataka Cinema Theatres Federation.
Addressing a press meet held in Mysuru today he said, “a discussion is being held between the producers, distributors and cinema hall owners, but unfortunately no decision is being arrived at. The producers are not cooperating and we the theatre owners will criticize this,” he said.
He expressed his view that the film producers’ should agree to do business on sharing basis like in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
