Bengaluru, August 27, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai was in Delhi for the last two days. He has returned to Bengaluru after discussing various developmental projects of the state with the Union Ministers.
The Chief Minister has provided the details of his meeting with the Union Government leaders. “I discussed with the Union Ministers concerned about the irrigation projects, GST and COVID vaccine. We will provide 5 lakh doses of COVID vaccines every day in the state from September 1. I have requested the Government of India to supply the required vaccines, and they have agreed for it,” he added.
He also informed that he met Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and discussed GST. He also discussed the various irrigation projects in the state.
In his response about the incident of gang rape in Mysuru, he informed that the police are investigating, and he was not aware of the status and new developments. “I will contact the officials concerned. The ADGP himself is in Mysuru and investigating,” he added.
