Haveri, March 21, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has informed that the State Government is contemplating on reducing the medical education fee in the State.
He visited Haveri today and paid his last respects to Naveen, who died in the Russian war attack on Ukraine. The body of Naveen has been brought to his native. Speaking to the media persons after paying his last respects, the Chief Minister informed that the medical education has become very costly in the state and hence the government is planning to reduce the fee by classifying as A, B, C category.
“The fee in our government colleges are less, compared to private colleges. We are discussing about reducing the fee. Students who have scored 95 per cent marks are also not getting medical seat. There is a need to seriously think about this,” he added.
