Bengaluru, July 5, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Visit of former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy with the Chief Minister of the State, B.S. Yedyurappa has triggered curiosity in the state political circles.
The former CM met B.S. Yedyurappa along with the Mandya District JDS MLAs at the latter’s residential office ‘Krishna’ and discussed for some time.
Speaking to the media persons later the former CM explained that they have appealed to the Chief Minister not to privatize MySugar Factory in Mandya. “The Chief Minister has also assured not to do so. I appreciate him for honouring our request,” he said.
On the occasion, he said, “the statement given by Minister C.P. Yogeshwar regarding ZP and TP reservations appears childish. Reservations are made by the Election Commissioner, not the State Government.”
