Bengaluru, Mar. 08, 2021 (www.justkannda.in): Chief Minister B.S. Yedyurappa today presented the State Budget in which he announced job opportunities for 60,000 women and up to Rs.2 crore loans to women entrepreneurs. Thus the State Government has given a bumper offer to the women of the state on the occasion of International Women’s Day today.
Chief Minister B.S. Yedyurappa who presented the State Budget for the year 2021-2022 today in the Assembly mentioned it is a Rupees Two and a Half Lakh Crore budget. “The entire economy has been uprooted because of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Inflation and Deflation are the constant challenges. There has been an improvement in the production of PPE kits. The State Government has been successful in safeguarding the interests of the people despite COVID-19 Pandemic, which has become a nightmare. Two Creches have been established in District headquarters and free treatment is being given for COVID-19 Pandemic. Our State has attracted the nation in reaching out COVID vaccination to the people,” he added.
He also announced 10% reservation in APMC, distribution of bus passes at discounted rates for women in the name of VANITHA, disbursement of loans to women entrepreneurs at a 4% interest rate up to Rs. 2 crore.
