Bengaluru, October 12, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): BJP leader N.R. Ramesh has complained with the Lokayukta against former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and retired IAS officer Shyam Bhat, alleging their involvement in the denotification of government land.
It is alleged that a piece of government land was illegally denotified to sanction it to a private builder named Ashok Dhariwal. This land is located at the Siddapura, in Kasaba Hobli, in Bengaluru South Taluk, and is meant for public park and public use, it is alleged.
The land measuring 2.39 acres located at Survey No.s 27/1, 28/4, 28/5, and 28/6 has been denotified. The total value of this land is said to be around Rs.200 crore. It is alleged that this piece of land has been denotified yielding to influence from an influential builder and has been denotified in the name of Re-Do.
