Mysuru, November 25, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): In his response to the opposition party’s criticism stating the BJP Government has failed in providing flood relief, the BJP State General Secretary Ravikumar today said, “the Chief Minister will not roam around keeping money in his pocket”.
Addressing a press meet in Mysuru today, he informed that the state has witnessed a lot of destruction due to the recent rains. “The Government will provide compensation by collecting the details as per the rules. The compensation amount will be provided as per law. Congress party has become a society of unemployed persons. D.K. Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah don’t have any work other than criticizing us,” he observed.
He expressed confidence that the BJP would win 15-16 seats in the MLC elections in the state. “We need only 12 seats to prove majority in the legislative council. We are confident of winning the required seats. The Janswaraj Yatra has been successful in the state. “We have received good support from the local elected representatives. We won’t require an alliance with the JDS party. The JDS has contested only in 7 places. Yediyurappa has requested the JDS leaders to support us in the remaining places. During the last Lok Sabha elections, Mandya MP Sumalatha had received external support from the BJP. Hence, we will request her to support us in the legislative council elections,” he added.
