ಮೈಸೂರು,ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್,26,2020(www.justkannada.in): ಕ್ರಿಸ್ ಮಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಸ ವರ್ಷಾಚರಣೆ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷಾಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ನಗರಿ ಮೈಸೂರಿಗೆ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರು ಲಗ್ಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ಪ್ರವಾಸಿತಾಣಗಳ ಸೊಬಗನ್ನ ಕಣ್ತುಂಬಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಕೊರೋನಾ ಎಲ್ಲದಕ್ಕೂ ಬ್ರೇಕ್ ಹಾಕಿದೆ.
ಹೊಸ ವರ್ಷಾಚರಣೆ‌ಗೆ ಕ್ಷಣಗಣನೆ ಆರಂಭವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿ ತಾಣಗಳತ್ತ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಷ್ಟು ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರು ಬರುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ವರ್ಷ್ಯಾಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೈಸೂರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರ ದಂಡು ಹರಿದು ಬರುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಜನರ ಆಸೆಗೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತ ಬ್ರೇಕ್ ಹಾಕಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಕಳೆದ 10 ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಮೋಜು ಮಸ್ತಿ ಕಾಣದೆ ಜನ ಪರಿತಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಹೊಸ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಮುಂಡಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಪ್ರವೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ನಿಷೇಧ ಹೇರಲಾಗಿದ್ದು ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಇತರ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳತ್ತಲೂ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರ ಆಗಮನ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿದೆ, ಮೈಸೂರು ಅರಮನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಚಾಮರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ ಮೃಗಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಂತೆ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರು ಕಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ.
ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ವರ್ಷದ ಕೊನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಮಸ್ ಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಅಂದರೇ 35 ಸಾವಿರದಿಂದ 38 ಸಾವಿರದ ವರೆಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರು ಆಗಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಕೊರೋನಾ ಆತಂಕ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ3-4 ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇನ್ನು ಹೊಸ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಅದು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಇಳಿಕೆಯಾಗುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ.

Entry to the famous Chamundeshwari temple is restricted, following which the number of tourists in the tourist town of Karnataka is very less, compared to previous years. It was quite visible at the Mysore Palace, Chamarajendra Zoological gardens, where the number of visitors was found to be very less.
