ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್,27,2020(www.justkannada.in): ವಿವಿ ಪುರಂನ ಪೊಬ್ಬತಿ ಹೆರಿಗೆ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಟೆಸ್ಟಿಂಗ್ ಅವ್ಯವಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಲ್ಯಾಬ್ ಟೆಕ್ನಿಷಿಯನ್‌‌ನನ್ನು ವಜಾಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಅವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕ್ರಿಮಿನಲ್ ಮೊಕದ್ದಮೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಕೆ. ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದ ಜತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಚಿವ ಸುಧಾಕರ್, ಈ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊರೋನ ನೆಗೆಟಿವ್‌ ಎಂದು ಸುಳ್ಳು ವರದಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದ ವರದಿ ಮೂಲಕವಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಕೂಡಲೇ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಜಂಟಿ ಆಯುಕ್ತರು ಹಾಗೂ ಆರೋಗ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ತಂಡ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ತೆರಳಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದೆ. ಕೋವಿಡ್ ನೆಗೆಟಿವ್‌ ಎಂದು ಸುಳ್ಳು ವರದಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಆಧಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಲ್ಯಾಬ್ ಟೆಕ್ನೀಷಿಯನ್‌ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಶಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಎಫ್‌ಐಆರ್ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದರು.
ಅಷ್ಟೆ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ, ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂತಹ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಮರುಕಳಿಸದಂತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಿಬಿಎಂಪಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನ್ಯೂನತೆ ಸರಿಪಡಿಸಲು ಕಠಿಣ ಕಾನೂನು ತರಲಾಗುವುದು. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಕೆಳ ಹಂತದ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಈ ರೀತಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದು ವೈದ್ಯನಾಗಿ ನೋವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅನೈತಿಕ ವಾಗಿ ಹಣ ಮಾಡುವುದು ವೈದ್ಯ ವೃತ್ತಿಗೆ ಅನ್ಯಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ. ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣವನ್ನು ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂಥ ತಪ್ಪು ಮರುಕಳಿಸದಂತೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ವಹಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವ ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

FIR against lab technician, ASHA worker

The lab technician, who was involved in the Covid19 testing irregularities at Pobbathi Maternity Hospital in VV Puram, is suspended and a criminal case will be registered against the technician and ASHA worker, said Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education Minister Dr K Sudhakar on Tuesday.
Speaking to media persons, he said that false negative Covid19 reports at Pobbathi Maternity Hospital came to his notice through media reports. A team consisting of joint commissioner and health officers was sent to the hospital for inspection immediately on Minister’s instruction. An FIR will be registered against the lab technician who was on contract and the ASHA worker who were issuing negative Covid19 reports, he informed.
The Minister further said that a strict regulation will be introduced to rectify the loopholes in BBMP and make sure such incidents are not repeated in the future. Following a discussion with the officials, a decision will be taken in this regard, Dr Sudhakar said.
Dr Sudhakar said that as a doctor, the incident has pained him. It is a dishonour to the medical profession to make money through immoral ways, he added. The case has been taken seriously and will not be repeated in the future, said the Minister.
