ಶಿರಸಿ, ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 1,2021(www.justkannada.in): ಮೂರನೇ ಹಂತದ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಲಸಿಕೆ ನೀಡುವ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಆರಂಭವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಯಾವುದೇ ವದಂತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡದೆ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸದಿಂದ ಲಸಿಕೆ ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಕೆ.ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಶಿರಸಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಲಸಿಕೆ ಅಭಿಯಾನದ ಮೂರನೇ ಹಂತಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಡಾ.ಕೆ.ಸುಧಾಕರ್, ಮೊದಲ ಹಂತದ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಲಸಿಕೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಎರಡನೇ ಹಂತದ ಲಸಿಕೆ ಹೈದರಾಬಾದ್ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೂರನೇ ಹಂತದ ಲಸಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಶಿರಸಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. 60 ವರ್ಷ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು, ವೃದ್ಧರು, 45 ವರ್ಷ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಕೋಮಾರ್ಬಿಡಿಟಿ ಇರುವವರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. 60 ವರ್ಷ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು 50 ಲಕ್ಷ, ಕೋಮಾರ್ಬಿಡಿಟಿ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ 16 ಲಕ್ಷ ಜನರಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಅಂದಾಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಂತಹವರಿಗೆ ಲಸಿಕೆ ನೀಡದೇ ಇದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಾಧಿ ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿ ಸಾವು ಉಂಟಾಗಬಹುದು. ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಉತ್ತೇಜನ ನೀಡಲು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿಯವರು ಏಮ್ಸ್ ಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಲಸಿಕೆ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಗಳೇ ಲಸಿಕೆ ಪಡೆದ ಬಳಿಕ ಯಾರೂ ಅಂಜಬೇಕಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು.
ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವವರು ಇದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜನರು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ನೋಡಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸಬೇಕು. ಲಸಿಕೆ ಪಡೆದ ಬಳಿಕ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಸೋಂಕು ಬಂದರೆ ಅಂತಹವರಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಉಂಟಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಶಿಸ್ತಿನ ಜೀವನ, ಉತ್ತಮ ಆಹಾರದಿಂದ ಆರೋಗ್ಯವಾಗಿರಬಹುದು. ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಪ್ರಗತಿ, ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಉಂಟಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆರೋಗ್ಯವೇ ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು.
ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯವರು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ವರದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಪ್ರತಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ 8% ಹಣ ಮೀಸಲಿಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮಾನವ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಕೂಡ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯರ ಕೊರತೆ ನೀಗಿಸಲು 2,150 ವೈದ್ಯರ ನೇರ ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವವರಿಗೆ ಬೇಗನೆ ಬಡ್ತಿ ಮೊದಲಾದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ನೀಡುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚಿಂತನೆ ಇದೆ. ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಮೇಲ್ದರ್ಜೆಗೇರಿಸಿ 24 ಗಂಟೆ ಸೇವೆ ನೀಡುವ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಕಾಗೇರಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
3 ನೇ ಹಂತದ ಲಸಿಕೆ ನೀಡಲು 270 ಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧಿಕ ಲಸಿಕಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸ್ವಯಂಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಬಂದು ಲಸಿಕೆ ಪಡೆಯಿರಿ. ಉತ್ತರ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಜನರು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಲಸಿಕೆ ಪಡೆದು ಬೇರೆಯವರಿಗೆ ಮಾದರಿಯಾಗಬೇಕು. ಆನ್ ಲೈನ್ ನಲ್ಲೇ ನೋಂದಣಿಯಾಗಬೇಕೆಂದಿಲ್ಲ. ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಲಸಿಕಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ನೋಂದಾಯಿಸಬಹುದು. ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಎರಡನೇ ಅಲೆ ಪಕ್ಕದ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಕ್ರಮ ವಹಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

3rd phase of Covid-19 Vaccination drive begins
Sirsi – March 1, 2021: 3rd phase of Covid vaccination drive has begun and people should take the jab without any hesitation, says Health & Medical Education Minister Dr.K.Sudhakar. he was speaking to the media after flagging off the drive in Shirsi.
First phase of vaccination was done in Bengaluru, second phase in Kalyana Karnataka and third phase is being started in Sirsi, he said. All citizens above 60 years of age and people above the age of 45 with specified comorbidities are given eligible for the vaccination. There are 50 lakh people above the age of 60 years and 16 lakh with comorbidities said the Minister. Serious consequences of infection can be prevented through vaccine. Therefore, it is necessary to get vaccinated. Prime Minister himself has taken the jab and set example for others to follow, he added.
Some people are spreading rumours in Social media. People should only believe government authenticated information and follow it. If one gets infected after getting the vaccination, there won’t be much effects. Balanced food and disciplined life style will lead to good health. This will also contribute for economical and educational growth. There is no progress without health said Dr.K.Sudhakar.
National Economic forum has suggested that all states should keep aside at least 8% budget for health sector. There is also mention of increased human resource for healthcare. We are recruiting 2,150 doctors for serving in rural area. We already announced special incentives for serving in rural areas. We are also upgrading the Primary Health Centres to be able to work 24/7 said the Minister.

Other Points made by the Minister
• 270 vaccine centres have been prepared for 3rd phase of vaccination. Register and get the vaccine voluntarily
• People from Uttara Kannada should be example for others in getting vaccinated.
• People can directly come to vaccine centres and register. Not necessary that one should register it only online.
• Second wave is being witnessed in neighboring states, we have taken strict measures to prevent it.
