Bengaluru, Mar. 08, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The State Government has decided to decrease the stamp duty on apartments and impose only up to 3% on first registrations.
Chief Minister B.S. Yedyurappa announced this during the presentation of the State Budget for the year 2020-2021. Accordingly, there will be no increase in fuel taxes and no stamp duty on the purchase of apartments valued up to Rs. 45 lakh. Registration charges will be decreased from 5% to 3%.
