Mysuru, Mar. 11, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Dissent exploded in the Mysuru JDS party, with two MLAs of the party starting a quarrel in front of party leaders H.D. Kumaraswamy and H.D. Revanna.
The dissent between Periyapatna JDS MLA K. Mahadevu and K.R. Nagara JDS MLA Sa. Ra. Mahesh came to the fore during a discussion held in Mysuru today, concerning the MYMUL elections to be held at Mysuru on March 16. The MYMUL election is prestige for party leader G.T. Devegowda and other JDS leaders of the region. The incident took place during a meeting held in a private hotel in Mysuru in which H.D. Kumaraswamy and H.D. Revanna had participated.
MLA Mahadevu expressed his disappointment against Sa. Ra. Mahesh for fielding candidates against his son and the understanding made with former Congress MLA. K. Mahadevu walked out of the meeting after the incident took place.
Former Director A.T. Somashekar has joined party leader G.T. Devegowda’s faction after the party neglected one of his supporters and gave prominence to H.D. Revanna’s brother-in-law.
