ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಐಶ್(AIISH)ನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಚಿತ ಶ್ರವಣೋಪಕರಣಗಳ ವಿತರಣೆ

ಮೈಸೂರು,ನವೆಂಬರ್,12, 2024 (www.justkannada.in): ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಅಖಿಲ ಭಾರತ ವಾಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರವಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ(AIISH) ವತಿಯಿಂದ  ಶ್ರವಣದೋಷವುಳ್ಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ಶ್ರವಣೋಪಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು  ವಿತರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.

ಐಶ್ (AIISH) ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಕ್ ಬ್ಲಾಕ್ , ಸೆಮಿನಾರ್ ಹಾಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೈದರಾಬಾದ್ ನ ಆಶ್ರಯ್ ಆಕೃತಿಯ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಡಿ.ಪಿ ಬಾಬು ಅವರು ಉಚಿತ ಶ್ರವಣೋಪಕರಣಗಳನ್ನ ವಿತರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಬಳಿಕ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಡಿ.ಪಿ ಬಾಬು ಅವರು, ಶ್ರವಣೋಪಕರಣಗಳನ್ನ ಖರೀದಿಸಲು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಶ್ರವಣದೋಷವುಳ್ಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಸಾಧನ ಸಾಧನೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು. ಈಗ 100 ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಶ್ರವಣೋಪಕರಣಗಳನ್ನ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ . ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು 7ವರ್ಷ ಓದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಶ್ರವಣೋಪಕರಣ ವಿತರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಶ್ರವಣದೋಷವುಳ್ಳ ಎಲ್ಲ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ  ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕಿ ಡಾ.ಎಂ.ಪುಷ್ಪಾವತಿ  ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

Empowering Futures: AIISH and Ashray Akruti collaborate

to Enhance Hearing Aid Accessibility

The All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), Mysuru, in partnership with the renowned NGO Ashray Akruti,Telangana hosted a landmark program today aimed at supporting individuals with hearing impairments through the distribution of hearing aids. This special event welcomed esteemed Chief Guest Mr. D.P.K. Babu, the visionary Founder and Director of Ashray Akruti, whose tireless efforts have profoundly transformed the lives of thousands with hearing disabilities. Ashray Akruti has been recognized nationally and internationally, in expanding access to hearing resources.

The program’s main objective is to identify individuals with significant hearing loss early on and provide them with appropriate hearing aids. AIISH and Ashray Akruti aim to bridge accessibility gaps for the hearing impaired, aligning with both public and private entities to enhance the quality of life for these individuals. The hearing aid beneficiaries for this initiative were those below the poverty line (BPL), ensuring that underserved communities receive much-needed support. During today’s event, he donated 50 digital Behind – the- ear (BTE) hearing aids each costed of about Rs. 29,000/- to individuals in need, underscoring his mission to make assistive technology accessible to underserved communities. The beneficiaries are from various districts of Karnataka including Bagalakote, Chitradurga, Belgaum, Chamaraja Nagar, Koppal, Gulbarga, Mysore and Tumkur

Dr. M. Pushpavathi, the esteemed Director of AIISH, along with dedicated staff, families, and caregivers, joined the gathering, celebrating their combined efforts to create a more inclusive environment for individuals with hearing impairments. This partnership reinforces AIISH’s commitment to community-centered health services and underscores the vital role of support networks, especially the unwavering love and care of families.Today’s event embodies a united commitment to inclusivity and empowerment, paving the way for brighter, sound-filled futures for those facing hearing challenges.
