ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಅಧಿವೇಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಧೇಯಕ ಮಂಡನೆಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕಾಯಿದೆಗೆ ದುರುದ್ದೇಶಪೂರಿತ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ ತರಲು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ವಿರೋಧವಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ಸಮುದಾಯವನ್ನು ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಸರಕಾರ ದ್ವೇಷದ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂವಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ಧರ್ಮಗಳಿಗೂ, ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳಿಗೂ ಸಮಾನ ಗೌರವವಿದೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಚರ್ಚ್ ಮೇಲಿನ ದಾಳಿ, ಅನ್ಯ ಧರ್ಮೀಯರ ಭಾವನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲ. ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸರಕಾರ ದುಸ್ಸಾಹಸಕ್ಕೆ ಕೈ ಹಾಕಬಾರದು ಎಂದರು. ಇದರಿಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಗೌರವಕ್ಕೆ ಕುಂದು ಬರುವುದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಕಾನೂನು ಮತ್ತು ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗೂ ಭಂಗವಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Bengaluru, December 10, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): KPCC President D.K. Shivakumar today informed that the Congress party completely opposes the tabling of the religious conversion amendment bill.
“We will oppose the bill at the Belagavi winter session. The BJP is intentionally trying to amend the act, which already exists,” he alleged.
“They are targeting a particular community and are doing hatred politics. Our constitution gives equal respect to all the religions and communities,” he said.
