ಮೈಸೂರಿನ “ಗಾಡಿಚೌಕ” ಶಾಲೆ ಹಳೇ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ: ಸರಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ನೆರವು ನೀಡಿದ ಅಮೇರಿಕಾದ ವೈದ್ಯ.

An alumnus of Lakshmipuram Gadi Chowk School in the city and is currently practicing medicine in the US. Dr. Sachidananda Murthy is the donor who has come forward to contribute crores of rupees for the development of the school.

ಮೈಸೂರು, ಸೆ.26,2024: (www.justkannada.in news)  ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ವೈದ್ಯರೊಬ್ಬರು ತಾವು ಓದಿದ್ದ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಭರಪೂರ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ನೆರವು ನೀಡಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನಗರದ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿಪುರಂ ಗಾಡಿ ಚೌಕ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ , ಸದ್ಯ ಅಮೇರಿಕಾದಲ್ಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯ ವೃತ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಡಾ. ಸಚ್ಚಿದಾನಂದ ಮೂರ್ತಿ ಅವರೇ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಕೋಟಿಗಟ್ಟಲೇ ನೆರವು ನೀಡಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಿರುವ ಕೊಡುಗೈ ದಾನಿ.

ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ, ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂದುವರೆ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಆಡಿಟೋರಿಯಂ,  ಲೈಬ್ರರಿ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಲ್ಯಾಬ್,  ಕ್ಲಾಸ್ ರೂಮ್ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಈಗ ಸದ್ಭಳಕೆಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇಂದು ಅಮೆರಿಕದಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಈ ಶಾಲೆಯ  ಹಳೇ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯಾದ ಡಾ. ಸಚ್ಚಿದಾನಂದ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯವರು ಖುದ್ದು ವೀಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಸಂತಸಗೊಂಡರು.

ಜತೆಗೆ ಸದ್ಯದಲ್ಲೇ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಕೊಡುವುದಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ  ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ನೀಡುವುದಾಗಿ ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ವರ್ಗದವರಿಗೆ ಆಶ್ವಾಸನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಡಾ. ಸಚ್ಚಿದಾನಂದ ಮೂರ್ತಿ ಅವರು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಸಹಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ವತಿಯಿಂದ  ಅವರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಉಪ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಜವರೇಗೌಡ, ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಾದ ರಾಜು, ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್, ಬಿ ಆರ್ ಸಿ  ಶ್ರೀಕಂಠ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ತಾಲೂಕು ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಪರಿವೀಕ್ಷಕ ಮೂರ್ತಿ ನಾಯಕ್ , ಶಾಲಾ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ರವಿಕುಮಾರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರರು ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.
