Bengaluru, June 20, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): “Development of Bengaluru is the dream of the youth. Bengaluru is a model for the ‘One India, Excellent India’ label, and the ‘double engine’ government is committed for the development of Bengaluru,” observed Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He dedicated several projects to the nation and laid the foundation stone for several projects symbolically, at a program held at Kommaghatta in Bengaluru. He commenced his address in Kannada saying ‘Karunadina Janatege Nanna Preetiya Namaskaaragalu.’ Continuing he said it is a significant day for the State and he was happy to inaugurate several projects. “The Double Engine government had assured the people of the State of a swift development, which you are all witnessing today. Today several projects worth about Rs. 27,000 crore have been dedicated to the nation,” he said.
“We are always ready to serve you. I am taking something new with me from here. I have arrived here to take share your happiness. The same development works are being undertaken in Mysuru too. We are launching 5 National Highway projects, and 7 railway projects today. Bengaluru is a city of dreams,” he observed.
“Bengaluru is a reflection of ‘One India, Excellent India.’ The Centre is making efforts to inject more power into Bengaluru. We are constantly striving for the development of Bengaluru. The ‘double engine’ government is constantly working towards this. Efforts are made to ease the traffic in the city,” he added.
“The Bengaluru Suburban railway project was being discussed for 4 decades. However, we have completed it within 40 days. It should have happened 40 years ago. But, a situation has come where we are talking about it after 40 years. Several developmental programs are being implemented by the State and Union governments. We have dedicated every moment for your service,” he said.
